Physiotherapy
At Body Aid Clinic we listen to your story and take a detailed history. Specific Physiotherapy Services include but are not limited to: manual and manipulative therapy, sports and exercise therapy, posture correction and education, core stability training, rehabilitation pre- and post-surgery, injury prevention, Swiss ball exercise regimes, acupuncture, therapeutic massage and general education.
We create an individualised treatment plan aimed at achieving the functional goals we set together.
Osteopathy
Osteopathy is a hands-on therapy where an osteopath uses their hands to diagnose and treat restrictions between body parts.
Osteopathy uses a range of different techniques including soft tissue work, articulation, manipulation, visceral techniques and Cranial Osteopathy to restore normal movement between body parts.
Using these techniques Osteopathy can treat a wide range of dysfunctions in newborns, athletes, pregnant women and many others.

Body Aid Clinic is proud to provide you with a choice or combination of Physiotherapy, Osteopathy, Massage and Acupuncture services for your problem.
After consultation with any of our health professionals, if necessary, they can refer you to another service within the clinic, whilst continuing to provide you with the assessment and treatment you require. If necessary our therapists will provide radiology, specialist and GP referrals.
Our practitioners provide 'hands-on' treatment and are ACC registered. The aim for our therapists is to enable our patients to return to their normal function as quickly as possible.
Ever since our clinic was established in Whakatane in 2005 we have continued to offer the highest standards of treatment and patient care.

Physio Private Charge $75
Osteo ACC Surcharge $50
Osteo Private Charge $80
If you do not attend your scheduled appointment and provide no warning there is a $40 Charge. Pricing applies from April 1 2023.
All our providers are ACC registered
We are audited, biannually under the Allied Health Services Standard by the DAA group.
All of our Physiotherapists are professional members of Physiotherapy New Zealand.
